Max Factor’s Xperience Volumising Mascara is a lightweight, mousse effect mascara which is said to provide lashes with 3x more volume (than bare lashes). The special formula contains key ingredients including luxurious natural carnauba wax (waxes are volume building as they provide structure to mascara formulation) and polyethylene spheres. When Max Factor trialled Xperience Volumising Mascara, 83% of the women tested said they noticed their lashes had more volume yet felt light and natural.
Having tried many volume mascaras that have clumped on the lashes, stuck lashes together, felt uncomfortable or left lashes very firm, we were, at JMA, intrigued to try Xperience Volumising Mascara.
The small plastic wand is easy to use and get a grip of lashes with. Amazingly lashes were lifted and opened out with just one coat. The comb separated the lashes out very well, and the non-sticky consistency of the mascara coated lashes from root to tip. Using three coats in total, lashes looked thicker, lifted and lengthened. Volume is the main aim of this mascara and we are pleased to say you can achieve incredible lash volume with repeated coats.
The combination of Max Factor’s iFX brush and ingenious mascara formula leaves lashes separated but volumised. It is not just about having a well-shaped comb but a good formula too – all of the best mascaras have both.
The lightweight mousse feel of the mascara really does prevent lashes from being weighed down and going stiff – instead they felt light, natural and moveable.
The mascara comes in a simple black plastic tube with a green X. The mascara is available in black and brown.
The mascara retails at £10.99 which is very reasonable for its high quality.
An excellent mascara which did not disappoint in any way. Xperience Volumising Mascara really did do what it’s marketed to – provide full and striking, lightweight lash volume.
