Frontcover’s limited edition makeup sets were first launched in winter 2008 and were instantly popular for their colourful baked powder eyeshadows. Now with year round and seasonal makeup ranges Frontcover continue to launch innovative collections which are affordable and practical. We are very excited about Frontcover’s limited edition Autumn/Winter Collection 2010 and thought we’d share with you our favourite sets.
Frontcover – To Go Portable Colour Collection
Our absolutely favourite set in the new collection has to be the one with the most eyeshadows in – Frontcover To Go (£35). It contains 20 stunning eyeshadows in neutral, bright and twinkly colours; Frontcover’s innovative Shadowline which allows you to turn eyeshadow into eyeliner and a great eyeshadow applicator. Large eyeshadow collections can be impractical to take out with you, but To Go is ingenious since the eyeshadows are removable and 4 of your favourite can be taken anywhere in the set’s transporter case. Our favourite colours have to be the new baked twinkle powders which create a sexy and sophisticated party or evening look. Read our full-feature review of Frontcover To Go.
Frontcover – 7 Days 7 Nails
We also adore 7 Days 7 Nails (£12) a trendy set of nail polishes. It contains the latest nail colours hot off the catwalk from purple to berry, orange and scarlet as well as a funky emerald green with a metallic finish. With both opaque and metallic finishes this nail selection is all you need this season. The kit also comes with two portable nail files and buffers for shaping. Frontcover – Exotic Eyes
Another favourite is the Exotic Eyes set (£12) which contains everything you need to create this season’s ultimate party eyes look – fabulously feline with a bold winged flick. Inside the set are 3 smokey and sparkly colours including a twinkly black with reflective glitter and 1 loose shimmery pigment pot. A mascara, kohl eyeliner and eyeshadow applicator complete the set so that you may complete the look, along with instructions and tips from Frontcover’s makeup artist Leanne Shaw.
Other fantastic sets in this winter’s collection include Hot Rods (£15), a set of 5 metallic eyeliners in earthy jewel tones for the latest streamlined looks. The soft kohl eyeliners glide on easily to flick, outline and sweep colour on the upper and lower lash lines.
Moonlit Metals (£16) is another gorgeous set containing 4 metallic loose pigment powders and silver and gold loose glitters. Create smouldering smokey eyes, a glamorous gothic look, or a subtle sweep of colour – all with the help Shadowbase eye primer designed to keep pigment in place.
Finally, we also love Eye To Eye (£18), a cool fake eyelashes set with all the extras you need to create a bold, graphic statement look, including a pigment eyeshadow, liquid eyeliner and glittery mascara top coat.
With such a range of sets there is one for every taste and budget. Frontcover is on sale in selected Boots stores, on www.boots.com and available worldwide from www.bodycare2000.co.uk.
