M.A.C Studio Sculpt Foundation is gel based, contains SPF15, is extremely hydrating yet has a long-wear waterproof formula, and is available in 23 different shades.

Trial

Having tested a few different foundations of late, I was pleasantly surprised to find one that I actually really like.

M.A.C Studio Sculpt gave me absolute flawless coverage. I mean it, every single blemish and imperfection disappeared, it really sank into my skin and looked lovely and glossy.

It has a beautiful, rich texture and feels velvety to touch.

This foundation is also extremely long-wearing; even after I took a nap (wearing full make-up) it hadn't budged. Excellent.

The only negative point for me was that it felt rather heavy and I was very aware of this. I’m not sure if I would want to wear it on a hot summer day, but it is definitely a good quality foundation.

Verdict

I really like this foundation and would definitely recommend it to those of you who like a buildable coverage and are after a heavier base. It is also very long-wearing and waterproof making it ideal for everyday and summer use. But, if you prefer a light or natural coverage, then this is not the foundation for you.
