Hi, does anyone have some good at home face mask recipes?
Making your own homemade face mask
Hello, what is your skin type? I know some lovely homemade mask recipes but each one is for a certain skin type because of the ingredients. x
Hello Layla,
I am a normal to dry skin type. I woud love to know any recipes you have.
Thanks x
Hey,
Here are two face masks I love, they're simple and are a real treat for skin.
- 2 Tablespoons Honey.
- 2 Tablespoons Milk.
- Mix until it's smooth enough to spread onto skin.
- Leave for approx 15 mins.
- Rinse with warm water.
- splash of cool water.
- 2 Tablespoons rose water.
- 1/2 teaspoon rose essential oil.
- 2 Tablespoons Honey.
- 3 drops almond oil (extra softness)
- Mix until smooth and apply to skin.
- Leave for approx 15 mins.
- Rinse with warm water.
- Splash of cool water.
Make sure you apply the mask to a cleansed face, remove any make-up and if you want better effects steam your face or do the mask after a shower so your pores are open letting the mask go deeper into your skin.
Honey is a natural anti-oxidant, soothes skin and moisturizes.
Rose water refreshes your skin and gives it a boost.
Almond Oil is very good for skin too as it gives it a moisture boost.
Let me know how you get on and what you think of the masks! xx
Wow - cheers Layla, these masks sound really conditioning. I will let you know when I've tried them out x
